The EPS is essentially a styrene suspension polymerization + pre-foaming agent (pentane) system. It has very high requirements for the initiator. Common problems include:
1. Difficult control of polymerization rate 2. Unstable molecular weight and molecular weight distribution 3. Difficult control of particle size distribution 4. High residual monomer content
Solution: Use our peroxy (di) benzoyl granules and tert-butyl peroxybenzoic acid in combination to solve the problems of difficult initiation and unstable rate, improving initiation efficiency and conversion rate; BPO initiates with high completeness, has less odor, and causes less yellowing, which is beneficial for food-grade and building material-grade EPS; The decomposition of BPO is predictable, the reaction is mild, and the safety is high;
Recommendation: 75% content of peroxy (di) benzoyl granules + 99% content of tert-butyl peroxybenzoic acid
