Isoborneol acrylate(IBOA) is a versatile, low-odor acrylate monomer used in UV-curable coatings, inks, adhesives, and cosmetics. Naturally derived resins such as turpentine are favored for imparting hardness, flexibility, chemical resistance, and low shrinkage to polymers. It can enhance the performance of demanding applications such as optical materials, electronics, and even gel nail products.
High Reactivity: As a reactive diluent, it efficiently participates in free radical polymerization while effectively reducing formulation viscosity and improving application performance.
Low Internal Stress and Low Shrinkage: Its unique molecular structure results in low polymerization shrinkage, significantly improving coating adhesion to the substrate and reducing cracking.
