BPO 50% powder or granules is a free-flowing 50% peroxide formulation with a phthalate-free carrier, suitable for curing unsaturated polyester and (meth)acrylic resins at both room and high temperatures. It exhibits excellent solubility in standard thermosetting resin curing applications.

BPO 50% is a finely granulated powder with good flowability, containing 50% benzoyl peroxide and a maximum water content of 0.5%.
Used for curing unsaturated polyesters and (meth)acrylic resins at room temperature and high temperature. Below 80°C, it should be used in conjunction with an aromatic tertiary amine accelerator. Above 80°C, no accelerator is required.
It is completely soluble in resin systems, making it ideal for the production of acrylic resin cured parts requiring high transparency.
